Sasha's Baby Shower

In conjuction with Sasha's baby shower and the new year, Hida's Delicacies decided to try out a new range of flavours for our chocolates.

As we mentioned in our FB post last month, we would be offering new chocolate flavours to our customers. We also welcome any special request by our customers.

So here we have created our new flavour of this month, Oreo White Chocolate. Some of our friends who tasted our chocs liken it to Hershey's cookies and cream chocolate.

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year to all customers. Wishing all our customers a wonderful brand new year and may success and happiness all be in your way.

2012 has been a wonderful year for Hida's Delicacies. Although we only started running beginning October 2012, but we have received many support from friends. So, therefore, I on behalf of Hida's Delicacies would like to extend our gratitude and many thanks to those who have supported us on this journey. 

Our last order in 2012, was on 25th December 2012. We received the order quite early and my dear friend, Qamalia who ordered the chocs wanted the chocs to match her sister's wedding theme, i.e purple and pink.

So with that in mind, and since it is a wedding, Hida's Delicacies created Purple and Pink chocs with the shape of heart and flower to commemorate the love between the bride and groom.

We were also informed earlier on that our chocs will be complimenting the other sweets and desserts on a dessert table prepared by Qamalia's friend.

We were happy that everyone enjoyed our chocs especially the kids and the family of the bride. Thanks to Qamalia for the support :)

Charity Carnival -TTDI Taman Rimba 2012

Last Sunday, Hida's Delicacies in colaboration with Kookies ETC joined forces and opened a booth at the TTDI Charity Carnival. Our booth was called the Desserts' Corner.

The Charity Carnival was held at the Taman Tun Dr. Ismail's Taman Rimba.

Hida's Delicacies sold homemade muffins, a variety of flavours in a box (blueberry, kiwi, vanilla and chocolate), almond clusters (our best seller product), homemade plain and praline chocs. While Kookies ETC sold meringue cookies and macarons.

Since this was our first time in selling our products in an open booth, we were quite unprepared of the weather. So, the chocs were a bit melted thus we did not get to sell many of them. However, we did manage to sell our homemade muffins.

But nevertheless it was fun and a good experience. We hope that we are able to do this more in the future while lending a helping hand for the needy and doing more charity work. A portion from the proceeds of the sale will go to charity.

Hida's Delicacies would like to thank our co-partner Kookies ETC, Ms. Sarah Kambali and Mr. Shahril Nizam for their support and assistance on that day.

Also we would like to thank our customers and everyone that bought our desserts and visited our booth. Also thank you to those who texted Hida's Delicacies and praised our products. Many thank yous.

TTDI Charity Carnival - Come And Visit Us!!!

Hida's Delicacies in collaboration with Ms. Sarah Kambali will be opening a booth at this carnival. 

We will be selling yummylicious desserts such as homemade chocs, freshly baked muffins, scrumptious macarons and many more.

Love Is In The Air

On 4th December 2012, my junior and her husband celebrated their 3rd year anniversary.

She requested me to prepare customized chocs for her anniversary and provided me with her own design. It was a bit difficult compared to the other chocs I have ever made before because this was the first time a customer gave me a very specific design and flavours. But nevertheless, I managed to complete it, alhamdulillah :)

And here is the result:

1) Blue/Green - Milk choc with oreo crumbs 

2) Orange       - Milk choc with orange flavour with real almond 

3) Purple         - Peanut butter flavour with choco cereal

4) White          - Hazelnut choc flavour with real hazelnuts

5) Red             -  Strawberry

I am really glad and happy that she and hubby and little Niyah loved the chocs. Thank you so much Fab for ordering chocolates from Hida's Delicacies.

Ctiey Hasmah's Engagement Ceremony

Last Saturday, one of my dearest childhood friend Ms Ctiey Hasmah ended her singlehood with an engagement ceremony to her beloved.

For the ceremony she had requested me to design my chocolates as part of her 'hantaran'.  She did not request any specific colours or flavours, so I let my imagination run free.

I decided I wanted to make a colourful batch. Since it was an engagement ceremony (the significance of two hearts becoming one) therefore, a sweet red strawberry heart is a must. I also made orange roses and green leaves to complete the theme. Added with white seashells to balance out the other colours, and thus the below picture are the results.

Long Hiatus

It's been so long since I last update this blog. i sincerely apologize for the long hiatus. My day job has taken most of my time this year as such I have momentarily stopped taking any orders.

But fret no more as I am now ready to take orders. However, kindly do let me know so that I can estimate the time for your orders.
